Aftab Alam

(15 th April 1967 / , , RANCHI,)

I know; the death sword is so sharp.

I wish, before I die,
Must say, this, beautiful world,
‘Good Bye'

I must, take a deep breath,
Must have, a glance,
I'm not worried,
For other chance,

Every moment,
I see the world,
I enjoy,

Thinking, this might be the last joy,
I'll lay like decoy,

I take deep breath,
‘The fragrance of this colorful universe'

Who knows?
There is dead end

Brightness of mine will mingle
With the bright world
Leaving this cage in dark

I know; the death sword is so sharp.

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.
