I'm Going To Forget... Poem by Anna Atchison

I'm Going To Forget...

Rating: 5.0

I seek for attention that I didn't get from you,
Attention that actually made a positive difference.
Abused and hurt is all I ever felt.
You bruised me and broke me,
When all I wanted was to get back on my feet.
I'm living alone in a world of hurt now.
Sad and abandoned,
I sit here.
So much on my mind I can't even figure it out myself.
Tears falling, head spinning.
Why did you do this to me?
Did I really deserve it…
I thought mothers were supposed to be there,
You never were when it mattered most.
You're a liar.
You're a selfish person.
I don't need you.
I'm going to forget you.

Abused and hurt you have ever felt has provoked thought and brought sadness.. Attention that actually made a positive difference is nice and wise to feel love. But this should be selfless attitude in love. Selfish persons have selfish motives and due to this reason you want to forget. Amazing poem is wisely drafted.10
