I Must Incline Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Must Incline

I must incline

No one has asked so far
Why I love stars?
Is that they are far and away?
Hang in sky and stay

They are of little significance
It is not by chance
But their role is limited
But we are always excited

I would love natural objects
And accept in fact
As they are seen daily or occasionally
And we too see them joyfully

But real things play decisively
When I choose companion selectively
And love everything about him
And join his views as team

Naturally I must incline
And feel fine
For whatever he likes
I must always feel same when he dislikes
