I remember the days
When we sang a song
Atop the hills
All night long
An endless tune
A repeating rhyme
That transcends my soul
From time to time

I remember the days
When we shopped through
Every single street
That you ever knew
Be it a necklace
Or a pair of shoes
Each item brings back
Sweet memories of you

I remember the days
When we laid on the sand
Enjoying the sun
While holding your hand
All those days
Were swept ashore
As long as you’re near
I’ll never ask for more

I remember the days
When we walked to school
Trying a new outfit
Trying to act cool
You make me laugh
As I make you smile
I’ll never complain if
We walked a thousand more miles

I remember the days
When your presence was felt
A friendship so warm
That made my heart melt
I miss you much
I miss you so
I miss you more
Than you’ll ever know
