I Walk In Pain Now Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Walk In Pain Now

Rating: 5.0

I walk in pain now
Each step hurts
The pleasure of walking is gone
One of the great pleasures of my life
But I need to walk
To keep going
If I stop my lungs my heart will decline
I walk in pain now
I still have to walk
A long time each day
One of my great pleasures is gone for now
I pray for the day
When I will walk without pain again

Even if walking has become painful, it must be giving pleasure too. As some one has rightly said that, man has the capacity to get adjusted with any thing, one may forget pain while walking and derive pleasure.. A positive approach will also help in reducing pain and enhancing pleasure, hopefully. Thanks for sharing the thought provoking poem.10 points.
