I Will Be Free Poem by Oladimeji tobi sam

I Will Be Free

Though iniquities may tend to me like a second skin
unrighteousness may be my most desirable breakfast
but he that created the star will soon separate the shaft from the grain and i will be white even more than snow

I will be free
abomination may dear to my heart like a valuable treasure
and inconsistent may be my routine like a spider spinning it's web
but he that form the sun is ready to cleanse me and i will be pure like a dew

My personality may bring mocking even from a baboon
and everywhere i go my sin call upon consequence to say ''howdy''
i know the hand that send the rains is watching and he's coming to put me out of my misery

such is life in planet earth
where the lion is willing to be vegetarian but the goat keep visiting
flesh cover the spirit and the fight still goes on
but he knows it's not all my fault
