Such Is Life Poem by Oladimeji tobi sam

Such Is Life

men evil deed are engraved on brass
and the good one on wind
when i did right no one remembered
when i did wrong no one forget
such is life

such is life
in this land murderers and thieves are
honor with medals on their chest
and the righteous are sentenced to death
the hopeless lament for aid
but way to the grave is pointed for their advocates
such is life

such is life
see as the blood of the saint is flowing in the shadow
of the sword
and the evil ones are throwing feast
the condemned are having their tears for dinner
look at their messiah slumbering in the court of their
tormentor
such is life

land of milk and honey is their heritage
so they say
and they drastically quenched the fire of the just
the burden is now becoming unbearable
and the journey now seems not reachable
they are winning and winning
and we are dieing and dieing
not that our fist are not train to battle
but they rather have us silenced
but the light will soon come
