If I Could Turn The Hands Of Time Poem by norman hale

If I Could Turn The Hands Of Time

If I Could Turn The Hands Of Time
And hold you in my arms once more
Then it would be more like paradise
somewhere on a distant shore

If I Could Turn The Hands Of Time
Then in your arms I'd be
Never ever to turn you lose
For our hearts will never be free

If I Could Turn The Hands Of Time
those wedding vowels I'd take
For when it comes to true love
Well honey you take the cake

If I Could Turn The Hands Of Time
I'd go back to the very start
Back to the very moment
That I first felt you in my heart

If I Could Turn The Hands Of Time
That kind of chance I would take
To just hold you for eternity
Makes it worth it for loves sake

If I Could Turn The Hands Of Time
I would grow old holding your hand
For this heart loves only you
Now I hope you understand

Yes, you can not turn the hands of time! Let us, therefore, do the best to all when we have that time with us. A good poem. Congrats!
