If Only Poem by Twilight Whispers

If Only

If only hearts were made from sugar
And on lonely trees grew smiles,
If only rain clouds showered down hope
And love stretched out for miles,
If only winter brought good luck
And flowers blossomed tall,
If only birds would sing all night
And feelings weren't so small
If only clouds were candy floss
And hailstones fought back tears,
If all of this were true, my friend,
Then
Maybe
You
Would
Still
Be
Here
