Imagination Poem by Kalee Skriver

Imagination

Oh, how much I wish to be a child again.
To ride the waves of my imagination,
And simply bask in the beauty of my own creations.
We have lost our innocence, our ignorance.
We used to see the world as a true delight.
Now, it seems that all we do is fight.
Take up your sword and battle your dragons.
Gather your family and hitch your horse to its wagon.
I need to flee from what is testing me.
All I wish to do is live in my own fantasy.
