In Places Disbelieved Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

In Places Disbelieved

Hunger.
Homelessness and poverty.
Seems,
Everywhere to see it.
In,
Places disbelieved.

Hunger.
Homelessness and poverty.
Seems,
Everywhere to see it.
In,
Places disbelieved.

Bigotry.
Hatred and division without end.
Seems,
Everywhere to see it.
In,
Places disbelieved.

Bigotry.
Hatred and division with no end.
Seems,
Everywhere to see it.
In,
Places disbelieved.

Elitist got this started.
With a picking enemies.
Since for them this was so easy.
Using movies and TV.
But less interest do they show,
To those poor and middle class.
The fat cats steal and pocket,
All the cash and then they dash.

Hunger.
Homelessness and poverty.
Seems,
Everywhere to see it.
In,
Places disbelieved.

The people sit deluded.
And remain to be deceived.
As if they can not see,
The homelessness and poverty.
In places disbelieved.

The people sit deluded.
As if they can not see.
The hatred and division.
In places disbelieved.

People are living in conflict.
In places disbelieved.
People are living and don't show love.
In places disbelieved.

Elitist got this started.
In those places disbelieved.
By using movies and TV
In places disbelieved.
And here we sit and stay deluded.
In places to disbelieve.
Here we sit.
Deluded.
Here we sit.
To disbelieve.
Here we sit to feel included.
But have been made enemies.
