Individual Histories Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Individual Histories

Rating: 5.0

Reasoning and logic come automatically, subconsciously
to our minds reaching into the recesses of our brains,
tapping into innate knowledge and wisdom.

Living according to what we've been taught, starting
with our parents, morals, ethics, values compassion,
caring, kindness, all falling in line through the years.

Being part of humanity, meeting with people throughout
our lives, some family, friends, strangers, all having
a part in our own individual histories.
