Into This Glass I Stare Poem by Marcus McKinley

Into This Glass I Stare

Rating: 5.0

Hello my beautiful water nymph
My anguished heart seduced by thee
Through eyes forlorn I yearn to see
Your flowing hair and supple beauty

Close to me with bosom press
Bestows a gentleness in your caress
The longing look your eyes profess
Sets my quarreled mind at ease

Ardently your cheek brushes mine
The silent sounds they quill my soul
The warmth of your whispered breath
Sets my blood to spark amour
And beg to nibble upon your lips
The imperishability of love

You have a unique way with words Marcus. I'm not quite sure who or what this poem is about but you conveyed your emotions with very powerful and lovely imagery.
