You lashed me with your power-packed glances
and dashed all my frivolous thoughts.
You stole with ease my throbbing heart
and healed the wounds of jobless life.
I tried to rob your precious wealth
but your words relaxed me from tumescence.
When my feelings billowed out unreined
You did divert me towards my goal.
Even when I ceased my ties with you
You opened your coffers to thrive me.
When I blamed those around for our divide
You cursed the fate and didn't me hate.
My love to you was pitcherful
but your love will the ocean fill.
