Isabella Poem by Neela Nath Das

Isabella

Isabella, it's tough
to cross the hurdle.
Since my childhood,
I tried much,
but failed to drown.
Adventure is in my blood.
My journey to you
was the outcome of
that indomitable spirit.
My vein took your blood
long ago.
Your laughter are mine
as you dearly loved me.
But, without knowing
the depth you can't
dive deep into the
heart of any ocean!
I want to open the
shell in the realm
of colorful corals.
Do you come to be
my sea-maid,
to swim along
with me?
will you?

apparently it looks like a piece of imagination, but one is tempted to feel a context behind it...as of course reading poetry depends much on the whims of the readers...the poem has the transporting power from reality to imagination! ! !

To swim with your sea maid Isabella and share a love that is deep.. A wish that that is sure to come true with all of its beauty and desire. Liked it.
