Isn't This Who-We-Are Poem by Mark Heathcote

Isn't This Who-We-Are

Rating: 5.0

The biggest man-made monument to peace
Ever built was the Great Wall of China.
Troubled times constitute the building
of bigger and bigger walls.
Fear is the fabric of life.
What we don't fear, we embrace-
Like a woman dressed in invisible silks
A feminist but with supple, gentle wrists
Isn't this who we are—isn't this the human race?

Each and every word speaks some thing. You have made a good comparision of human race. this is very much right that we embrace what we don't fear. Poetry is the subject of realisation. An inspirational write.
