Jear Bear Dares Poem by Suzanna Chevalier

Jear Bear Dares

He’s not the average brown bear
he’s a Jear Bear that really does dare.
Dares to climb high into the sky
up to his tree house as bees fly by.
Bees flying around his honeycomb
flying really close to his tree house home.
He swats them away with his big bear claw
then he goes into his house and has a gnaw.
He gnaws on his favorite tasty bite
it’s a hamburgers filled with yummy dust mites.
Then Jear Bear goes to cut some “zzzz’s”
the starts to dream of funny things like Razel ice bees.
Then he feels a sting- it’s a icey Razel bee stinging his knee!
He jumps up and makes a roar! ! !
Jear Bear runs out his tree house door.
Jumps down to the ground and jumps in the lake
he feels relief which makes him feel great!
Then he sees Melodie doll by lake’s trees
she says “i’m glad you made it-and
you didn’t hurt your knees! ”
