Jim Poem by Anthony Foster

Jim

Rating: 5.0

Jim.

Flowers cascade down the side of your house,
Reds, Whites and Blues shimmer in the early summer sunshine,
We feel your affection shining through your dry wit,
And laugh with you as we see your passion.

We could not share your distress,
As that was the loss of family
We hoped that things would all workout,
For you and to all things ever happily

But at least the hand of fate threw us together,
When in we moved next door,
Although we have not said goodbye,
Yet in our hearts you have not left us at all,

Thank you for being who you were,
Which forever for us means who you are?
As nature stirs with the shoots of early spring,
We will feel your presence in the warmth of the sunshine.
