Keeper Poem by B3k Baylon

Keeper

No...not a word will escape from these lips
though the truth burns thru the fingertips...

It struggles and the risks might be worth taking
It may ease the pain of a soul in deep suffering...

But no, not all the time truth will set you free
Sometimes it suffocates like an unwanted debris

More often than not... it is like betting all-in,
When you know the cards are not worth the win

So shush...just hold your breath, hope, & pray
That the eyes and the words won't give away

What's hidden buried in the deepest of memories
Secrets and hopes that once knew no boundaries.
