I love you girl, you’re my close friend
I hope you’ll keep me till the end
I write this poem to tell you
The kind of friend you are, is few

I love the way you smile so bright
And how we almost never fight
You’re honest and reliable
And in your faith you stand so tall

You are a girl I look up to
In plans and such you follow through
If I need prayer, you are the one
To lift me up and make things fun

You’re beautiful, I can not lie
Don’t you even try to deny
We dance, and laugh, and cry sometimes
You even listen to my rhymes ;)

I can’t tell you how sweet you are
And if I could, I’d take it far
Only ‘cuz you’re everything
I need and want a friend to be
