Last Melody Of Love Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Last Melody Of Love

Wandering about, holding onto faith and hope as this heart
hurts, taking away all of life, finding it difficult to get
even a deep breath.

Just sitting and keeping calm as possible, slow and easy,
life touching interiorly while rhythms melt this mind and
heart in a melody of love.

One that enfolds this poetical being in the midst of death,
holding onto this poetical life this evening, tears falling,
not wanting to stain the white purity of innocence of loss.

A loss that was unavoidable, yet this is where life and
poetry come together one last time before crossing over for
a final time on this side of the black curtains of death.
