Layne Poem by Joelle Johnson

Layne

You're gone;
There's no point in pretending.
It only moves me backwards,
Or to tears.

A voice was silenced,
That never deserved to weaken.
If you thought we didn't love you,
You didn't know me.
And now you never will.

Losing someone close to you, in my opinion, is pretty much the worst pain that ever can be felt. I feel your sadness in this poem, keep writing dear.
