Learning Life Histories
Silent, quiet, always keeping to self, seldom talking,
usually listening to others, learning life histories
in just moments of another.
Inspiring, making a difference at times with a stranger,
so gratifying interiorly, knowing that you've helped some-
one in desperate need to talk and have them really listen
to what's going on in their not so ideal lives.
