Let It Go.... The Great Debate Poem by Lyn Paul

Let It Go.... The Great Debate

Rating: 5.0

EWWWWW.......
I SMELL SOMETHING, WAS THAT YOU?
IT SMELLS DISGUSTING, ON THE BORDERLINE TO POOH!

LADIES DO NOT "LET LOOSE" RELEASING AIR FROM DOWN THERE....
THATS A MAN'S JOB - A WOMAN, MUST NOT DARE

NOT ONLY DOES IT SMELL, IT HIGHLY POLLUTES OUR AIR...
I HAVE TO HOLD MY BREATH, AND FOR THAT YOU ARE BEING UNFAIR!

FLATULENCE WAS MADE FOR MAN.... WOMEN MUST HOLD IT IN
YOU WILL ONLY GET A LITTLE BLOATING,
A LITTLE DISCOMFORT,
And
YOU WILL BE PROUD YOU DID NOT SIN

FOR THE GENTLEMAN IS NOT SO GENTLE AND HE MAY RELEASE THESE
FUMES....
YET THE WOMAN MUST NOT "LET IT GO" OR IF URGENT MAY SEEK THE
POWDER ROOMS

YOU SEE A WOMAN WAS BORN TO NUTURE, TO CLEAN AND TO SMELL
LIKE A ROSE,
IT IS HIGHLY UNPLEASANT
IF ANY ODOUR SLIPS UNDER A MANS NOSE

SO PLEASE STRUGGLE WITH DISCOMFORT.
BEST NOT TO BEND OVER THE WASHING MACHINE....
FOR YOUR RELAXED MOVEMENT COULD CAUSE FUMIGATION
AND YOU.....
WILL NOT BE TREATED LIKE A QUEEN.

SO "LET IT GO"
'Let It Go'

YES OR KNOW?

THE GREAT DEBATE.

As the father of 4 daughters, I would like to think that there will be a day when they can fart with the best of men and not be thought any less of because of their gender.: -) Nice write, Lyn

stanza 6: maybe a couple of typos? but I'm loving the poem so fa! to MyPoemList. OOPS! pardon me. i hope you didn't smell that. As i learned years ago, it is best to 'let loose' when a dog in nearby; one can blame the canine! Don't Bend Over, Lyn! I wonder if Helen Reddy ever 'let one rip' while at her microphone. bri :) bri :) Remember, dear, I too am in the room with you, so please don't make it smell like a zoo. I KNOW Helen Reddy

Nice piece of work! We were born and, we came and met this system on earth. Infact! In some countries, women are not respected at all. I still ask myself many questions all the time. Why is it so? Can this attitude really change? Thanks for sharing this poem with us.

Really funny and so true men can get away with anything but women are judged all the time so I suspose the best thing to do if you can't beat them join them LOL! !
