Letter Poem by Malory Joyce

Letter

My dear,

As you read this I will be right beside you just as I was all your life, since the day of your beautiful birth. Actually I remember your first smile, the most gorgeous smile I've ever seen, and one that could just light up your day. Father and I brought you home and I couldn't let you go. I was happy that I had you.

Darling, I asked you before what happens to bad people when they die? you said they go down under us, am I going down? I know I made a mistake that one year but would you hold it against me? Sorry is just a word but what if I told you my heart said it? I love you so much, your all that I live for. You made such a big difference in my life. I know our years turned out horrible and I acted as if I never wanted you, it's not true because the difference you made had saved me. People say to forget the past and move on, they were wrong. Dear you must forget the bad things that happened and remember the good times. The last day we have spent together and the last minute you asked me to make a promise with you. You wanted me to promise that I will always be with you forever, but I told you I wouldn't because I will soon die. Dear I wanted you to know I love you and I promise even after I die I will still and always be with you. I love you so much My Dear!

Love always,

Your Mother and
forever now

Angel
