Liars, Haters And Crooks Poem by Randy McClave

Liars, Haters And Crooks

You don't ever see faith healers
Ever working in a hospital,
Curing the sick and healing drug dealers
Or healing those which souls are brittle.
You will never see them at the bedsides
Doing a bodies healing,
Acting like they are spiritual guides
But, only in wealth and not health they are dealing.

You will never see psychics
Ever winning the lotto,
Truth and certainties never leave their lips
Pretending the future that they know.
You will see them when they trip or fall
And also in car accidents,
Their bill or debt collectors will still call
In their hotel room or at any residence.

You will never see a drag queen
Reading to a child an inappropriate book,
Never in museums any inappropriate nude statues have I seen
And never by artwork did I mistook.
But, I have seen white supremacist and Nazis
Also seen burning crosses and the banning of books,
True pain is created by some of these
But, we want to believe in liars, haters, and crooks.
