Lies And Money Reign Poem by Hebert Logerie

Lies and money reign these days
The hardcore criminals have taken over
They are faking and running the plays
They are blood thirsty and are hungry for power
Please good citizens, expose these liars
Who are fighting to own the towers
The beaches, the schools and the churches
As they're tricking the taxpayers in the ranches
To believe their lies, mistruths and sins
Ladies and gentlemen, snakes have no friends
Tigers tend to devour all sorts of meats
Oh! No. That's devilish. That's not neat
Lies and money rule. Of course, that's bad
That's awful. That's an evil thing. And I'm mad
About that. The world has been fooled again
The world needs to expose these men and women
Let's rip, step on and spit on the speeches of lies
Let's trash them in the funky bins full of flies
Let's put a stop right now to all kinds of nonsense
And let's not betray our God given common sense.
