my love smiled told me
her dream she wanted to tell

her dream to live happily
with me in our small house

with a garden near the beach
close by the beautiful sea


tragedy this dream serenity
was not to be

status high society
did siren her compel

I left to live in a small house
left her to her mansion in hell
