quest materialism emptiness enfolds
changing fashion trends is but fool’s gold
cold bitter hearts in covert greed do mold
art of living lies not in eliminating troubles
in helping hurt others grace nobility doubles

when those who hurt we share their pain
we embrace passion Christ’s not Cain vain
absolute truth absolute sadness embrace not madness
jealousy greed dark seed grows bitter wages dust sows
ingenious devices trendy fleet fleeting distraction toys
but moments sates distemper scenery allure glitter eggs
