It's the CLASSICAL WALPURGIS NIGHT which parallels the Romantic Movement Walpurgis Night of Part One which Goethe later rejected. I can only read FAUST in English translation but the superior rarefied poetry makes me a want-to-be-a-believer in such a cosmic process of redeeming the world. And you? a believer in regeneration? One who hopes for it? (The violent, revenge-filled fantasy of cosmic redemption in the last book of the Christian bible I totally reject.
