Lost and Found
Seems like the light faded
My world was shaded
I couldn't find my way
Lost in absolute misdirection
Tragic now upon reflection
How easy night covered day
Friends seemed to disappear
Faster than a falling tear
And alone was all I knew
Here sitting on my own
No one calling on my phone
No where to go and nothing to do
So close to giving up
I thought my doors had all been shut
Always wanting what I didn't need
Walking around lost and blind
Now those days are far behind
Because of you I'm freed
You let the light in
You steal away the dark
To let a new day begin
Your smile made the sun rise
You stole the clouds from my skies
I'll never forget what you did for me
My door was locked
You found the key.

This is so amazing, ain't it grand when someone comes along and just makes everything better? Exquisitely expressed, loved it.
It's my life in words....only I haven't quite made it to the final 13 lines in the grand scheme of things. Made me stop and think for a while.
