Lost In A Maze Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Walking carefully through periods of sadness, finding that we're totally lost in a maze that we don't know how to navigate at all.

Never having any directions or instructions on what to do, our feelings coming unglued, throwing us into a frenzy that takes us where we don't want to go.

Moving mechanically without knowing where to go, not eating or sleeping, not feeling like doing anything anymore, feeling like dying and giving up.

Knowing deeply within that we have to be here for our children, doing things for them automatically through our love of them.
