Love Poem by Kimberly Lindsey

Life has been hard, my own doing at times.
I love so deep, and completely, and loving… is no crime.
Love should not hurt, or make you shed tears,
It should make you happy, through all the long years.
I now know what love is not, it is the opposite of what was,
And it will continue to grow, and deepen, with the passing of time.
Our love will get better with age, like a fine bottle of wine
And with each passing year, we will grow in other ways too,
And learn how to be each others friend.
I love you today, and I will love more tomorrow, and
With each day that passes, my love gets stronger, and stronger.
You have my trust, and loyalty, my love and devotion.
I will learn to trust you more and more, with each and every emotion.
