Love At Christmas Poem by ENOCH JOHN

Love At Christmas

Love is in the air so watch out for Cupid,
But love is in the air at Christmas.
Love doesn't always warn you when it's coming;
You have more warning for Christmas which comes once a year,

But when love is in the air even at Christmas,
It comes without notice, it can envelop you suddenly,
Even if you didn't stand under the mistletoe.

So at Christmas when love is in the air,
The cakes and the plums and the ham,
Sorrel and ginger beer might just taste better.
