Love In Separation Poem by Bartholomew Arkoh Boamah Sarbah

Love In Separation

From the horizon I come to you my love
With an oasis of emotions dwindling from a restless heart;
A victim of an unconditional separation
I have come, alas, in writing
To pay homage to my adorned goddess
I roamed along the beaches
And combed the waters of the falls
Meandering my path through the mountains
Lo, I have pebbled your face with my findings
And seek to console my desiring eyes
In silence I have suffered long
From a separation to bridge in a million years
My fingers are crossed
And I keep wailing for a reunion
that seems to be in the offing
And yet remains in the balance.
