Love Must Have Separateness

Love must have separateness

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Love must have separateness

Love must have separateness
How can it exist when there is a blend into oneness?
‘Vaishnavas' and devotional sages wanted to be reborn as ‘Gopis'
To experience the Krishna's love, intimacy and closeness

Even Buddha at the gate of heaven
Is said to have looked down on the suffering of being human
And came down with compassion to heal and rescue them
He was not interested in just his own ‘Nirvanik' haven

Surprisingly ‘Moksh' does not seem to be the objective of sages or even God
Separateness and differentiation is the scheme of God
It is selfish to seek your own glory or ‘Mukti' leaving others to suffer
To express love and compassion this difference was planted by God

That is why, so much I love you
But I don't want to become you
The game of love like dance must have two partners
I and you
