Magic In The Night Poem by Samantha Boatwood

Magic In The Night

On a moon lit night
By a rushing stream
I sat by a sycamore tree,

Has no one ever told you
Of the magic that can be,
While you sit and wait
By the sycamore tree,
So keep a close full watch
For the magic will appear
While you sit and wait
By the sycamore tree

Not a second goes by
When I look up
And dancing in the sky,
It's a cat with a fiddle
Hey diddle diddle
What eles can I see tonight,
There's a man with a mask
Upon a white horse
Galloping very fast..

And just to the right and not very far,
A gentleman has appeared
He's the man in the moon,
But he'll be gone very soon
As night must come to an end,
But don't be sad, it won't be long
Till the star's twinkle again.

Come wait with me, at the tree
Till night does fall again..
