MAKING MY PEACE WITH MEMORIES Poem by Adília Lopes

MAKING MY PEACE WITH MEMORIES

Rating: 3.5

In the mirror I see myself
pieced together with glue
more beautiful
than before
like the Zen plate
whose fractures
are highlighted
with gold
I'm the work of good
and bad luck
the work of affection
and the lack of it
Narcissus and anti-Narcissus
living is believing
