Man's Loyal Friend Poem by Randy McClave

Man's Loyal Friend

God knew that man would be betrayed
By woman that he loved to which he had prayed,
He knew that many women wouldn't remain man's friend
Even as promised, and swore until the final end.
He knew that woman would lie and cheat
Ever since the devil whispered in her ear, "deceit",
And he knew that woman wouldn't keep her vow
Either given then, or given now.
God knew how exactly woman really was
And their thoughts of truth, respect and also love,
Even though a woman says or screams that she is devout
Many times from a relationship she'll lie and then she'll run out.
Even though a woman says she is a man's gal
And that she'll always be his trusted confidant and pal
She'll be there in his good times and also in the bad
But, she is gone, usually when man is hurt, lonely and sad.
God knew that man would be lonely so he created him a mate
He created woman, so loneliness and sadness wouldn't be his fate,
God also decided to make man a devout friend before Abraham
Then Adam from Joy used, "GOD" as the naming anagram.
Adam knew that woman would always leave man's side
Woman is not truly devout with honor or pride
As Adam named all of Gods creatures in God's massive catalog
Man's true and devout friend, Adam named the creation, "Dog".
