Message
Tea stain
on the yellow sticky note
inside
a reminder
to yourself:
Pick up laundry
Finish sculpture
make butter & adukai bean stew
Tell Donal I love him.
I smile
glad I made it on
your list.
It surfaces...years later.
A little peice of
passing time
not designed to survive
the years.
I stroke the words
with a fingertip
enclosing them
in a falling
tear.
