Missing You Already Poem by Nestor David Armas

Missing You Already

Missing you already,
A little anguish setting in,
Less than an hour
Since I last saw you,
Sleep won't come easy,
It feels like the night
Of a Christmas Eve,
Anticipation,
I can't wait for tomorrow,
To see you again,
Forever is not enough,
Pictures nor thoughts can make up for,
Your presence incomparable,
Let the hours pass by as a dream,
A vivid,
Sweet dream of you,
Will it suffice
The long cold night,
Until I see your pretty smile again?
My eyes grow heavy,
The time is late,
I know surely
The night will pass,
Tomorrow will come knocking,
And like a splendid Christmas day,
I will awaken with joyful glee,
You are the present I most wish to seek,
Tomorrow anxiously I will see you my love.
