Mist on the Mirror...

When I saw in her eyes,
That day I recollected,
Recollected the time,
I had spent viewing me,
In the mirror,
A mirror that never lies,
The same mirror,
Which cannot understand the truth,
A mirror,
Which cannot see a thing,
But can reflect every precise detail,
I dared myself to look,
Deep down her eyes,
But couldn't…
Meanwhile she flickered,
And I felt,
As if that mirror,
Shattered into pieces,
But now again,
I could see the mirror,
But this time,
With the mist of tears…

Lovely cook up dude. It surely gives us a good feel. Mirror never lies and when it comes to collection of memories; there can't be anything like mirror. It makes us recollect all our past, think about future, while making us boast upon present. Keep up the good work (Report) Reply

Mirror mirrors mind and emotion as well. A nice reflection of thought. Loved. (Report) Reply

Mirrors reflect light, light that can be bent, distorted, colored, etc.
what we see in mirrors is not what is on the inside of the reflection.
Mirrors are the greatest place to hide in public. What people see are what they want to see. (Report) Reply

poet John Clare

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
