Moon-Lake Poem by Jacques du Lumerie

i

the moon
crying
moon-lake

ii

war< br>comes early
and silently...

at the gun
aimed for

lingers
as life
goes

silently
coldly

v

crying
moon-lake

of blood

vi

the killer
looks up at the moon
and says of it

'it's beautiful
tonight'

vii

war
co mes early
and silently...

viii
