Mother This Is For You
This poem is for you Mom,
With a special heart-song.
And a special love to say,
How greatly you belong.
The kisses are for you.
And the hugs are too.
The gift is to thank you
For all that you do.
You’re always on my mind.
I’ll bet you have no clue
As to the number of times,
Each day, I think of you.
I love, love— love you!
In the fondest way.
And am truly wishing you
A happy Mother’s Day.

Mothers, no doubt have a special place in the life of any man or woman, though it may not be openly expressed very often! This poem is perhaps the most valid gift, a daughter can give her mother on the Mother's day! If you don't mind read two of my poems- My Mother and The Drop of a Feather!
