Mubarak Refuses To Relinquish Power Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Mubarak Refuses To Relinquish Power

Rating: 5.0

A bonfire in bid for craved freedom
was lit in dark Cairo Egyptian night
governing suppressive NDP parties
headquarters was set alight bright

flames amazing claim human rights
reality hundreds of torture incidents
daily in Cairo’s police stations hints
at suppression a dark regime inflicts

brutality routine is pervasive across
Egypt by security forces is testament
to resolute reason why Mubarak falls
ghosts justice murdered tortured calls.
