Soothing whispers from the walls all around,
The wonderful beat, the wonderful sound.
Unheard by most, only one place to hear,
The most beautiful song to my adoring ear.
Lightly dragging essence against my cheek,
Drowning in warmth, it changes when you speak.
Sounds accompany, and it returns again,
My life’s music, harmony sought by men.
For yours true beats to a glorious drum,
A sound others hear, buhbum, buhbum.
A sound so light, not easy to decipher,
So gentle and perfect, and I hold you tighter.
There are times when the sound progresses,
Speeding up as the drum stresses.
Pushing and pumping itself over levels,
Racing to flee from life’s devils.
And again, in my arms, you lie down on me.
Your body holds the one and only key.
The key to what I hold dear, your true being,
Only you. All of your everything that I love seeing.
As I hold you I feel the all familiar beat,
Your body holds the music oh so sweet.
I can hear it through me and feel it through you,
With your ear against me, you can hear mine too.
Soothing whispers from the walls all around,
The wonderful beat, the wonderful sound.
Unheard by most, only one place to hear,
The rhythm of your beautiful heart, my dear.
