Music Throwing Aside Covers Of Despair Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Music Throwing Aside Covers Of Despair

At times our minds seem to be drowning in sorrow, loss or
abandonment, hearts unable to beat with any amount of en-
ergy or verve.

Tears flowing from within beings, unable to be stopped or
even slowed down, wishing that life would just disappear
and never be seen or lived again in this life.

Then music begins to play and it picks up our spirits,
throwing aside the covers of despair, lifting our minds
into better feelings of joy and happiness.

Walking away into the night, believing in something good
that came from within musical rhythms and brought us into
the beauty that life can become with music.
