My Father Is A Worrior Poem by Abdullahi Nashe

My Father Is A Worrior

My father a warrior
Mighty warrior
renowned
Cuts down just less Willows
with nothing forby lingua

Majestic stance ivory
Sweats of effort from his body
Drop words that moisten the soil
and so trees from sprout in sight

With a vibrant voice of justice
With no magic he directs
Without nay, others can but follow

With truth and knowledge, he glimpses
Like sun, rays of inspiration he sends
With which they see and prosper

A Leader and follower of truth
dauntless king, forever shall he reign
in the heart of many plied...
