*My Journey to Him
Who will I turn to was what a little boy
thought to himself as he walked the beach
I looked to the ocean and saw it so full
while my heart was so empty
Searching and searching for something
I do not have
Up and down the beach all night long
until my legs almost gives out
I set down on a piece of driftwood
for a short rest
I laid my head between my legs
I saw love carved in too the sand,
a heart with the Name Jesus in it
I looked to the sky and saw a new sunrise
from that point on I never walk alone again
from that day forth I turn to one who is full of love,
who I turn to is prince of peace,
the one who breaths love into life,
Sweet Jesus
