My Love Poem by jeanne harmon

My Love

Frozen where I stand
Phone still in my hand
Time passing me unknowingly
Everything seems likes a dream
My heart lies in pieces on the ground
The sorrow to most people makes not a sound
Thunder brings me back to reality
A storm approaching
All I have now are these memories
I fall down on my knees
BOOM Thunder sounds again
I cry out loud but it makes not a sound
Life’s expectancy has taken hold of you
How quickly it could all happen I never knew
BOOM
Head is spinning
Time slows down
Dysfunction fills my brain
Here comes the rain.
